Horizon Zero Dawn - Aloy's Journey

I am so, so proud to present the very first picture from my photoshoot with Velvet Art​ (www.facebook.com/velvetartvide…) !!!!! I can't believe how badass she made me look!!!!!

Can we just take a second for to applaud her genius, guys? This woman is not only insanely talented, she is an absolute pleasure to work with! <3

Sooo, there's a story to this pic!

We were planning to do a photoshoot by sunset. We chose a Wednesday in June, the weather had been amazing all day. However, when evening rolled around, the weather suddenly turned. Gray clouds everywhere, no sunlight to be seen. We were hoping for a shoot in the golden hour, to compliment the colour palette of the game, but it seemed like that wouldn't be happening any time soon.
We decided to go ahead with the shoot anyway. We took a couple of shots, but we were both kind of bummed the weather wasn't co-operating.
After a while, we reached this lone tree in the middle of an open field. As we drew near, we noticed the clouds were dissipating. We ran like maniacs!
And, lo and behold, the clouds parted for a few minutes and I was bathed in sunlight! Instantly, Anne-Fleur and I sprung into action. I took pose after pose and she snapped away like a maniac.
We were both on a roll! In those few minutes, we snapped some amazing shots. I am so proud of how we managed to rock those few minutes of sunlight! <3

Opportunities are everywhere, just be sure to seize them when they arrive!
